How Our GPs Will Work
At Nuevo Medical, general practice on the Gold Coast will be the coordinating point for everything else in the building. Our GPs won't just assess and treat during the consultation; they'll identify where a patient needs allied health, pathology, imaging, a structured program or specialist input, and then actually set that up. Because those services sit in the same centre, the gap between a recommendation and the thing happening is short. GPs at Nuevo Medical retain full clinical independence, and no practitioner is required to refer internally. Referrals go wherever the patient's needs are best met.
